Begging for food

What you want to do is create a boundary between what;s his and what's yours. This way, you're differentiating what he wants and what he can get. You could also train him to lie down or enter his crate when you're eating. Excessive Chewing
Have you dog-proofed your house? You may want to do that first upon getting a dog because he's gonna chew on almost anything he sees. ( Like literally some dogs chew on knifes.) What you should do instead of dog-proofing your house is enforce some rules around your laws. You need to be Kim Kong Un in this situation. (If you know what I mean :) :) ;). Dogs find chewing on socks, shoes, couch, table, woodworks, and your clothes very entertaining. However, chewing plays an important role in the teeth development of young pups, but they should be restricted to chewing on bone or toys only. You should provide your dog with plenty of toys to chew on and reward them when they stopped chewing on your side of the house. See it's not that difficult isn't it.
